The use of acupuncture in veterinary medicine has grown rapidly as its’ effectiveness in treating a wide variety of medical conditions in dogs and cats has been successfully verified. Essentially, acupuncture involves the placement of fine needles into specific points on the body to stimulate good health. It is often effective in problems which have not been responsive to drugs or surgery. We have had excellent results with acupuncture on chronic medical cases.
